Flat roof leak detection using high-voltage technology

The high-voltage method is used to identify leaks in waterproofing membranes. It uses a high-voltage electrode that generates electrical sparks when it runs over a leak or defect in the waterproofing membrane. The spark flow is registered by visual and audible signals on the device, allowing the precise location of the leak to be determined.

How High-Voltage works

In the high-voltage method, a voltage is applied to the roof surface. A spark jumps over leaks because of the low electrical resistance. Accustic and visual signals precisely mark the damage.
